Why has camera 6 finished it's live stream.

In many ways, the layout at Chester is a classic example of a really great layout and the fundamental flaw in many of them. On this scale and with the financial and manpower resources available, it should be a perfect example of a prototypical modern railway, and yet it's not quite there. The reason? It's designed by people who want to be (or even were or are) train drivers, who equate being in control of a train as being in control of the railway. Of course, they're not - the railway is controlled by the signallers and schedulers. And a model railway with no signals and stations that no trains ever stop at can never look totally realistic.

Such a shame they tore up most of the rail lines. I used to love going around the island on the train. Pulling into Ventnor straight out of the tunnel. Magic for a kid. I think the paddle steamer is rotting away on the island somewhere too.
